My son is in college and would like to apply for the Discover It Chrome for students. His credit score is 620. Which credit report does Discover pulls? What do you think his chances are?

I would consult the credit pulls and who gave me credit databases for who they are likely to pull. Score is probably good enuf for approval.
They pulled TU for me here in TX. I had a whopping 471 and was countered with the secured It. 620 seems reasonable for approval. Good luck!
For the student version, obviously there are restrictions and since some who apply don't actually have a reported CS, Discover will require proof of enrollment which isn't bad just part of their process.
Discover pulled Eq for me. (Oregon)
and I have no clue about his chances, I am sure the underwriting for a college student and a normal card are different. I finally got approved for my DiscoverIT at about 660 fico.
*edit*
the whogavemecredit sites been down over a week for me. Ive read Finance Globe is pretty good? Ive never used or even gone to the site though.

Discover is lenient when it comes to the student version of the card. What bureau they pull will depend on your location although the credit pull database is the best to determine what they will pull for your state.
Discover pulled my EQ (Florida).

@NP27 I think that might be a tad wrong because my sister is still in high school and got approved for a discover it student's card. She did put down a 2 year college for the school list since she also attends that 2 year college due to their PSEO program.
hmmm. The CSR told me that yesterday. He said in order to qualify for the student card they must be enrolled into a 4 year college. When did your sister get the student card?
Do Discover reps know what they are talking about?
