Re: Discover It Denial

Sorry this happened, OP. You have 18 cards listed in your signature that are fairly low limits. That's a lot of new accounts and inquiries. It also looks as if you may have one year or less of recent credit history.

It may be time to stop applying for a while in order to have greater success with Discover in the future.

+1  I was going to post something similar, but your recommendations to op are spot on.  Couldn't have said it better! Smiley Happy

Re: Discover It Denial

Close the ones that have fees and let the others age. If you really want Discover, and they are the best IMO-get the secured for $200. They start graduating at 7 mo and even the secured card gets rewards and FICO Score, etc.. just like the regular card. They are great and it is by far the best secured card around as far as graduating quickly.
Other than that let all your accounts age. (This is a lesson everyone including myself should do more often)

Re: Discover It Denial

Op, sorry about the denial! It always hurts to see it, especially when it's a card that you really want. Follow the advice given by the knowledgeable peeps who responded to your post (many have been in your boots, and want you to succeed). Water your crops and watch them grow! Smiley Happy
