Discover It amazing APR!

Earlier this week I applied for a Discover a card, the student version anyway, they asked me to send in my college schedule and it was approved! However I was expecting to get the max APR of 21.99% however the car just came today and I was shocked to see they approved me for 16.99%!!! I'm blown away I already love discover. I didn't think an APR that low was possible with less than two years of credit history LOL

Congrats 2 ya.... Welcome 2 the Discover family !!!!!!!
In about 3 mths or so ask if they have an apr. reduction available for ya..I know they do for the regular cards ~ every 6 mths..won't hurt to ask...Good Luck on your credit journey!!!!!!

Congrats op. I am happy you are happy. Not bad. but of course low apr is based on overall profile. not just age. Im just reaching the 2 year mark. a little over and my credit union already lowered it to 8.99Apr. Which im floored with. Too bad the limit not so high so i cant just use and use it for everything. Still great rate with Discover. I think i got my Card with 8 months of credit history and you are right. I got a whopping 22.99 % apr with Discover. but 15 months 0% so now i will start paying interest this month.

Nice! They lowered mine to 12.99%. I'm not sure if that's the lowest it'll go
