I had no idea they relegated you to back car, AJC.  One of my main reasons for coveting this card was all the wonderful things you said about it in previous posts!  Hopefully, they will start moving you up to a nicer club car soon.  In the meantime, being a new cardholder, I will stand at the rail with you to keep you company. 

I'm hopeful they will come around.  I've read many posts from BBS and others that the Disco CLI train came to full and complete stop for months at a time.  Some are finally getting them now.  Yours is coming!

Hello, I tried the pre-approval Tuesday and was approved. I checked with chat chat agent the status and says card is in the way I should receive on Monday the 23rd before 8PM. Up to date my it hasn't added yet in my HP, I will give it another week to check if it won't add in my report.

Just spun the wheel myself..like I needed another card. Lol
Already have a Discover It. Applied for the Miles card. Instant approval..no HP alert as yet. $3000 SL at 11.99% APR.

I tried and no pre-approvals but I would get something in the next 7-10 days explaining why.

I don't need any explaining - I burned them in my ch. 7 four years ago and they are definitely not willing to forgive me for it. No worries, I'll keep trying once a year if it's a SP, not that even need another card. I have my eyes set on something else for next year anyway.

Discover has been good to me this week!

Received my 1st auto cli on a 2 year old card a few days ago that raised my cl from $5,000 to $7,000.

Just happen to come across this thread and decided to try the pre-approval and was pre-approved for iT and Chrome with the full offer of 0% intro and the double rewards.

Pulled the trigger and received a $7,500 sl. "awesome"

so I decided what the heck lets go for a cli on my original card and got an additional $500. "more awesomeness"

Well, I was only offered the secured card so...boo to Discover. I need to focus on my goals while gardening. Maybe I'll try again next year.

Tried to see if I was pre-approved for another Discover card but they couldn't find anything. They listed that they couldn't find an offer due to the number of of accounts with Discover Financial Services lol Also that I have too many recent accounts/not enough length/established, etc. Figured. I was just curious. Even if I were pre-approved for another card I wouldn't apply. Currently in the garden for awhile.

Interesting that they pulled EQ and gave me my EQ score. Is it a real FICO 8 score, though? Cause the score they gave me was 787. Don't know why it would be so high compared to my TU and EX. I get those scores from Discover and Amex every month. 

Guess I'll try my luck with the SP CLI next month again. Been with Discover about 8yrs and recently learned about the luv button. These past two months I got $1,450 and $1,500 increases. Hopefully it continues for a little bit longer. Sitting at $5.2k with Discover currently. Kinda jelly with all these nice SL you guys have been getting lol

I was preapproved for 2 Discover It cards with two different balance transfer offers. One for 18 months on transfer and 6 months on purchase and the other for 14 months on both transfer & purchase, I picked the former and was approved instantly for $6,500. 

No hardpull alert yet. I have another disco it card with $2,200 limit from 2015. My ficos range from 695-710.

Congrats. I had a secured card and closed that account a few months ago. I checked today and they actually show me preapproved for the IT, Chrome, and Miles. APR is 23.99 and 0% for 18 months on transfers. I'm not apping so no limit to post but its nice to finally get an actual preapproval from them after 18 months of a $200 CL.

18 months secured ??? That sounds cruel. I thought Discover upgraded at 7 months.
