As the subject line says. I applied for a different Discover product today and got the message to call in. I called in fully armed with my TU info just in case and they wanted to verifiy my employment position/title as well as my address. Each file has my address a little different, and I filled the app out in relation to TU. Well, after clearing up the address the CSR confirmed they pulled EQ.
So, at least for the Mid-West, TU is no longer exclusive.
Never was.. Discover pull EQ 90%+ of the time probably... CLI's are TU typically.. the other 10 percent is TU or EX pulls probably on approval. Those aren't hard stats by any means but discover is known to be a EQ puller.

+1
They did pull EQ only for my DW's approval last Nov.
They pull EQ for me also
Where I live in GA, they've always just pulled TU but maybe that's subject to change.
I've heard that Discover pulls depend on the card. The IT card tends to pull from TU
Were you non-TU guys doing it for a different card than the IT card?

I applied for Diacover It in September, Single EQ Pull. Wife applied for Discover More 3 1/2yrs ago. Single EQ pull then too.
There goes my IT theory out the window.
They did pull mines and it was TU, I'm in California if that helps provide any more data
