Discover Secured Card...Approved?

I'm in the process of building additional solid credit and decided to appy for Discover Secured Card. I received an email saying they need one more thing from me...the deposit. My question is, once I make the deposit, is that approval solid and I will receive the card in the mail?

That's how it worked for me. Applied, gave bank info, deposit was taken a few days later. Got the card in less that 2 weeks after I applied. Equifax Fico 576 (according to the score that came with my card).

Ok credit, getting better.....slowly.... Can't seem to stay in the Garden for any extended period of time. I'm trying. Mid to upper 600's across the board.

I applied Sunday night and deposit was taken Tuesday. I want a blue one but they said secured version only comes in one color. Congrats!

Same here got secured for $300 after deposit pulled takes 5 days to get the card.

I don't think they would ask for the deposit to just consider your application.

You can request a new card with the design you like after you get the card and set up your online account.
