I don't doubt you earned everything you have. The balance transfer could be a red flag that you're carrying debt, even though you may not be since utilization is low. Maybe Discover sees you have a large available credit limit and doesn't think you need more. Or maybe you have too many inquiries. It's hard to say without knowing much about your history. Good luck though, with time Discover will increase your limit.

I have done several $2K+ transactions on my Discover Card. I PIF and even let one of the balances sit for two cycles before paying it off. My overall utilization across the board is 2%, scores all above 700 and income is over $150K. I really don't think the issue is me but who knows...
