Good for you! Hope the next one is better, but we take what we can get, especially true for sp!
Also does anyone know who they SP for CLI’s when you hit the button?
They don't SP you at the time you hit the button, they use the last SP they have on file which would be when your FICO score was last updated on their site. They use TU for their monthly pulls. This is why people tend to often request their CLI after their statement period closes and their FICO score updates on the web site.

Does anyone know if you can double dip a Disco SP CLI on a Sunday? I’m wondering if I should hit the button today (Sunday) or wait until tomorrow (in case I’m approved). Thanks.
Since cust care is open on sundays, i would say that you can. YMMV as to the approval part, but its worth a shot.
As far as who they pull, most seem to be TU. It can depends on the area you live in tho as some lenders use different CRA's depending on your location.

It probably won't matter, but I'd recommend Monday. I've had my best luck with Monday's throughout the life of my account.

I believe this only matters with respect to original Discover apps, not the bureau they use for your monthly account SP. As far as I know, monthly account SPs are done on TU and a TU FICO 08 score is what is provided to all members, regardless of location.
BBS, what kind of spend do you recommend for Discover? I am almost afraid to use mine with all of the "disco hates spent" stuff floating around. I'don't hate not to maximize the cashback match period. I don't let it report more than $10 or so.
Thanks in advance
Is your goal simply to grow your limit? Heavy spends and light spends have both resulted in great CLI results as well as terrible CLI results. My recommendation is to find something that works for you (yields a CLI) and roll with that until it no longer works (CLIs stop). At that point, try the opposite end of the spectrum, that is, if you were going heavy with success take it down to light. If you don't find success on the other end of the spectrum, go "tough love" and don't use the card at all for a cycle. Then, the following cycle request a CLI. If you don't get one, give them one single-digit dollar swipe for the next cycle and let that small balance report. Try for a CLI again. By that point, hopefully you found something that works. If not, keep switching it up until you find success again. In the first year that I had my Discover card, I found most success when I was giving them a $1k-$2k spend per cycle. After a while, that dried up and I went 9 months without a CLI. I started getting CLIs again with smaller spends of a few hundred bucks. My most recent CLI was after a $5 spend the previous month, as I was giving them some tough love. It worked. This cycle I think I gave them a $63 spend and I'll be requesting my next CLI a week from tomorrow. We'll see how it turns out!
