[OFFICIAL DATA POINT]
***60 days seems really long***
I know right?!
If you followed what they actually officially put on their website under the help section it would be 180 days instead of 60!!

So just hit the button and got the 2 day message. I'm about 90 since graduation at which time I received a $750 CLI and then hit the button the same day for a Other $500 for a total of $1250..... not bad for my graduation/first CLi. I was happy.
Around day 60 I was denied for my request instantly. I'm sort of optimistic with this 2 day since my FICO is about 200 more than when I got the secured and about 100 more from when they graduated me. this is a great amount of progress in such a short time
Anyone know if the CLI approval amounts have anything to do with your other reporting limits? not in my case, during the first year each CLI was 3-4K each
Do they like to be the highest? I think the ocd one would be AMEX wanting to be the highest...Disco doesn't chase other lenders from what I've seen
Also... my statement cut yesterday. It posted today. If I get denied is there any reason to try again on the 9th which would technically be my 91st day from graduation or is the 90 day rule out he window since I technically have had this card for 10 months since it was secured for 7 of them. (Hopefully I am making sense) timing might be an untold reason for denial.... I think this was the case for my increase Jan 2016 where it wasn't quite 2 months between them
Finally.... I have read that if you try to request a CLI while waiting for their decision if it is the normal page it means you were denied if you get the form to fill out and your CL didn't change you were denied and if they are still deciding it won't let you request another. A) Is this true and B) how long does it usually take for them to decide their 2 day message? up to a week for some Is it usually the full 2 days or does it usually come in earlie? some report as short as a couple of hours.... since they don't work weekends it's going to take a day or two to catch up on the backlog
Thanks in advance to Austin and everyone else. This is the most kick a@@ Disco post. Lots of good info. You are the man Austin.
Like I said in the PM.... wait for it or call them for an instant decision while on the phone. They'll be able to pull it up and give you a decision or if you wan them to round it off to the nearest $1K it's a good time to call while things are pending. I think you're close enough on the timing and if not then hit the button again later on.
You find out online quicker. I requested my last one 2/1 and 2/3 it showed online and 2/6 is when I got the e-mail.

Side note sort of unrelated question: does the discover app have a CLi request option or do you have to use it on the main site? (Specifically the iOS App if there is a difference between the iOS and Android apps)
Of the iOS apps for my lenders, Capital One (buried under Profile & Settings) and Citi (conveniently placed right under the Credit Limit when you click Expand) are the only two that have this in the app itself. I don't see it anywhere in the Discover menus.
