I believe Sync usually pulls TU for Care Credit. Does anyone know if they use the Fico 8 or 9 score? I've been prequalified for the $5,500 I requested but wanted to ask before pulling the trigger next month. Oddly enough their Prequal page came back (after putting in last 4 of my SS#) with an old address not on any of my reports anywhere anymore so that was surprising. Anyone had that happen?
They use TU VantageScore 4
Thanks! Good to know. I just used LevelCredit to report the last few months of my rent payments so I'm hoping that helps my VS4 score. I believe VS4 takes rent into consideration. My VS3 is usually in the low 700's.
my previous address came back on their prequal site as well. I just change it right then and there.

This may be a silly question. How does one view their vantage 4.0 score? I know what it scores (as for trended data up to 2 years) - but I'm curious because when the time comes - I want to ask for a CLI on my care credit card. I do have the myFico monthly subscription. So if it's in there - I simply never knew it was Vantage.

@AnonymousI have learned that in this forum there are No silly questions.
In my experience while trying to obtain my scores the only places I have seen a Vantage 4 score is in my Sync online accounts.

Hey thanks! Currently at a low 661. Better than I was expecting with my mediocre scores.
@AnonymousThe most important factor in Vantage4 is your Utilization unlike other models where Payment History weighs heavier.

Is that for every Care Credit approval @Brian_Earl_Spilner? When I was approved for the Banana Republic Visa card a couple weeks ago (in-store), the disclosure (price you pay for credit) displayed a TU FICO score, in my case F8. It was not VS4.
I realize they use VS4 for a variety of lending decisions, but I've only seen VS4 for standard account maintenance and CLIs 🤷♂️

They had claimed they were moving fully over to VantageScore. From what I've seen lately they've been approving based on it. BR might be a straggler. Or maybe they realized they can't base all their decisions off of it and we start to see the return of fico. 🤷
ETA: Just remembered I just got the card. When I got approved for care credit a couple of months ago they listed my VantageScore
