Hi!
I know both Chase and BOA do HPs for CLIs and I'm willing to sacrifice one for an increase. I really want to increase my Amazon Visa CL, but if it's apparently extremely difficult for people, then I'll try BOA. Which one was easier to get for you?
Never had a CLI- both still at SL ![]()
Amazon - $500
August 2013
BOA Cash Rewards - $2500
July 2014
Thanks!
BofA, hands down was easier. Good luck.

Thanks! Did you call or push the luv button?
BofA - I got a CLI from them twice my original limit 7.5K -> 15K by just pushing a button - it will cost you a TU HP - and ask for a least 25K - the system will counter you if don't get it..... good luck!!

I woud do the pre-qual check on both BOA and Chase. If you have history with Chase they may give you another card which you could later transfer easily to your Chase Amazon. Sometimes it is easier to get a new card than to CLI.
i would go with boa
No exprience with Chase, but with BofA, I was initially approved for $2k. 6 months later during an app spree I asked for a CLI via the LUV botton and requested $15k. The computer spit out a counter of $4.8k. Disappointed, I looked up the back door number on this site and called in. A very nice analyst answered and I filled her in. She asked again how much I would like my new limit to be and again, I said $15k. She said,"Okay, one minute while I review your credit information." A few moments later she got back on the phone and said,"I have looked at your credit information and unfortunately I cannot approve you for $15k at this time, but I can bump you up to $10k and in 6 months if you manage this line properly you can call us back and we can see what we can do for you."
I about **bleep** my pants! My highest limit at the time was my $2,300 QS1.
Good luck!
Oh and I should note she used the same TU HP the computer pulled.
Thanks alot you all! I'm going on an app spree for Sallie Mae, Blue Cash Everyday, and Double Cash in a few months and at the end of it, I'll ask for BOA CLI.
