It's just advertising, no different than CK's approving odds. I have always had Discover match even during my first card's first year, many matches for cards I already have, entire Chase lineup even though I'm way over 5/24, USAA cards and I don't even qualify.
At least they didn't try to match me with Indigo whom I have 90% approving odds on CK.
