Experience with CSP and Freedom application

Guys just thought id share my recent experience with Chase regarding their CSP preferred and Freedom application process:

Quick snapshot of my credit file now: According to my CMS All 3 of my FICOs are between 740-760. I have no negative info on my CR. 12 months into a 60 month auto loan w a 20k remaining balance. 4 credit cards that are paid off every month: Amex zync (this is kept in my desk drawer and rarely used) NFCU cashrewards card with 12.1K CL, BofA 123 Rewards with a 5K CL and Chase Southwest RR with a 2.5K CL. Im 29, just graduated grad school, annual income of 60K on paper (with bonuses, OT etc should be around 70-75) Amex is the oldest card opened in early 2010, Southwest is the most recent opened in 2012.

Last week I came on here asking for the best card with a 0% promo as Im about to make a large purchase I wont be able to pay off for about 9-12 months. After input from ya'll I decided to go with he chase freedom with a 15 month 0% promo. However after doing some research I thought the CSP preferred would suit me well bc of the reward structure and bonus. So I app'd and was approved right away for 8000. Still needed the 0% tho so literally right after the CSP approval I app'd for the freedom and was approved right away for 4000. I called the number on the back of my southwest card to close that card and do a credit line xfer to my freedom and the rep told me thatd be no problem at all I just have to wait 30 days because the account to be closed must have a zero balance and no transactions for 30 days. In fact he said I wouldn't even have to call I could just send a message through the secure message center and theyd do it. Once they do that Ill call to hopefully have the freedom be upgraded to a visa signature as that will put the CL at 6.5K, hopefully thats not a problem but so far Chase is working well for me.
