Remember they were approving and then declining and we were all stuck with a hard pull?

Well after making their lives miserable because they approved two credit cards and then declined them because it was an invalid offer because they stated you have to be a member to apply for their products.

I called and asked that question before applying and the CSR said their credit card products were available to all US geographic locations and that you did NOT have to be a bank member/customer.

So I wanted the HP removed from my Equifax report.

After sending everyone in their organization over 30 letters each, totalling 150 letters, filing complaints with the BBB and the CFPB.

The hard inquiry was removed from my Equifax Credit Report today.

Relentless.....

I would not let it rest....I think I literally drove them crazy...they truly deserved it....and I enjoyed it...

If you have to be in their service area and you applied, if you're outside the area they should never pull your CR so if you're out the area you should be able to have the enquirer removed, right?

I got a letter from the FDIC today. The CFPB notified them of my issue and said they were also investigating. The letter said they would notify me at the conclusion of their investigation.

Very interesting.
