FNBO AmEx

This forum has been a good/bad influence!

After researching and reading the history of this card with 6.25% APR I decided to throw all caution to the wind. Got the "2-4 week we'll let you know", which is typical, I rearely get instant approvals.

In fact, on balance, I get more instant denials...probably.

Status check shows pending.

What's odd is a HP on Eq, not Ex, which may prove advantageous since I have a boatload of INQs on Ex(08=699) and 1/3 on Eq(08=698).

Two other points of interest, 1) I'm almost certain the online app didn't request an email address? 2) depending on how you access the FNBO site, two different AmEx offers, 6.25% or 15.99 to 22.99%?

Now, I need to stop reading these forums, be jubilant with my success over the past 5 months and allow everyting to percolate to reach the 800s by the end of the year!

That card is a manual approval 99% of the time for everyone. Don't take it personal. FNBO likes to manually review all but the absolute best of the best.

Yeah, I'm not sweatin' it. I thought I'd just share the oddities.

This card and it's APR would simply be a nice addition if approved with a decent SL.

Admittedly, I've become jaded, if the SL is sub-$5K...meh. $10K or better gets my heart pumpin'. I've already SD'd my 3 Centurian Ameces since they're being recalcitrant with CLIs despite heavy usageSmiley Frustrated
