So a few weeks back apped for this card and today after quite some time, finally recieved my rejection letter. The reason for denial was "To many inquiries". Up until apping for this card, I only had two inquiries with Experian, both this last May. They may be harder to get in with than chase. They of course pulled Fico bank card 9 which I am at 671. Has anyone had any luck doing recon with this bank?

It always hurts when a great card says no to jumping into your wallet. Two inquiries other than the one for FNBO should not be the reason for denial or at least not alone anyway. Most likely I would guess is that the score is not really that strong. I remember people needing 720's just to be looked at for the Duck's Unlimited or maybe 680-90 on the low end. To get this card I would think you need to pull some more weeds and party with the watering can aka garden.
You can try recon if you like. I am sure the number is written somewhere in the recon list. Be aware that current history states that a recon with FNBO is really hard to do successfully. They are known for giving very straight reasons to deny you and those reasons have little to no room to budge on.
FNBO is actually easier than Chase. They only look at inquiries in past 6-12 months and score. Since some CLi's have no inquiries it is easy to manipulate those numbers. Chase looks at actual accounts and looks at the more painful 2 years. It is super easy to to get accounts to report even when their inquiry is on another bureau and the wait hurts.
