FNBO HP?

I got my FNBO card 12/2021 for $6300. In June my limit was cut to $4600 for what appears to be no reason at all. No derogs, late payments & 11 inquiries (2 this year). I called in Oct after the 4 points to see if there was a sp available & I was told it'll be a hp which I declined. Does the credit limit ever recover with FNBO? My FICO scores are between 697-704.

Re: FNBO HP?

A bunch of us have recently had our CL decreased, but 4 months haven't passed yet, so I'm not sure if any of us can answer your question yet...

What the did the letter they sent you say as to why they decreased your limit?

I never got a letter from them. I've gotten 3 CLI's from other cards in this same timeframe.

Re: FNBO HP?

Yeah, they're trippin lately with their adverse action and risk adverse nonsense. They chopped my wife from $15k to down to $5K. LOUSY policy but I think worth keeping... for now

This new practice of dropping people's credit limits is pretty new, and is probably temporary, so there aren't a bunch of data points to which to refer, but I'm sure the limits do recover.

Re: FNBO HP?

@SouthJamaica someone here did have their limit increased after AA. I'll do some digging because I can't remember for the life of me who it was...

Re: FNBO HP?

Yeah, it was @themanhimself . He went from a CLD to $500 up to $8000.  It's on pg.27 of the master thread.
