1.)Applied 11/15
2.)Received email to call them 11/21
3.)Called them immediately, but their security office was closed.
4.)Called security office 11/22. Lady then sent a code to my house phone. She asked me to fax my ID
5.)Called back to make sure fax was received. Man sent a code again.
Looked over documents. Told my ID was too blurry. Asked to email ID.
6.)Confirmed ID was received and sufficed.
7.) Hung up.
8.)Received approval email 5 minutes later
9.)Checked CreditKarma and EQ was pulled.

10.)Waiting for my card and limit.

Just got one more call:

- Security depatment wants to see my ID

- but I sent it a week ago!!!

- ok, let me switch the line to the security depatment.

- sure

automated voice:

- enter your social security number and the pin code.

- what pin code????

- ... sorry ...

 

well... yes, I could sent the ID to the wrong e-mail, it suppoused to be usinvestigativeassist@us.hsbc.com

Anyone who was asked to send the ID to the same address, could you please check is it correct?

The above is also the email I had to send it to. I had the rep on the line to make sure he got it. He confirmed it and I got my approval email 5 minutes later.

ps. 10 minutes later - still nothing...

pps. 15 mins later - got approval e-mail.

I applied the day before yesterday on 22nd. Went to pending. Didnt receive any email yet. Should i call them now or give them few more days? Will calling after applying help expediate the process?
