Called up Citi to ask for a recon on a recently denied DC card. Denial reasons were derrogs present, and too many inquiries (auto loan shopping) Call lasted all of about 30 seconds. The rep was quite rude, basically said theres nothing to be done, and that im welcome to apply again in the future. Oh well, might as well wait another 5 months for 1 of my 2 derrogs to fall off.

I'd say that waiting for the derogs to eventually drop off your CRs is a good idea. Once your reports reflect these changes and score improvements you can try again. When does the 2nd derog fall off?
