Fidelity Amex to BOA Americard

I am looking to convert my Fidelity AMEX to a BOA Americard..Is this still possible? Say if I didnt get approved, that they could still open the card but transfer the limit to the new card and close the Fidelity card out..

I did this vice versa but I would like the 15 month no interest on the BOA. I got approved for the Citi Double Cash the other day if anyone was wondering why I am looking to cancel my Amex.

Saw on a different post they do not product change. If I apply will they transfer the limit to the BOA card?

They won't product change unless it is to a Cash Rewards card or a Travel Rewards card and your current card is eligible to switch. If you are allowed to product change, your terms, including limit and interest rate, would be the same as what you have now.

I called FIA Card services and the lady said that it was not possible. How would I go about doing this? Would I have to apply then have them transfer the limit?

If you got approved for Double Cash the other day, why do you still have the Avatar for the garden?

BofA will now only allow PC from/to another BofA named card.  No co branded cards.  You will need to apply for the BofA card and call underwriting as soon as you are approved to transfer CL from Fidelity to new card.  Unfortunately they hard pull now to transfer CL.  If you do it same day they will use the HP from the app on new card

And also, what if I didn't get approved? I would still be able to open the card right if I transferred my CL?
