Finally! AMEX Pre-Qual 5.5yrs Post BK13

BK13 discharged July 2021 never burned Amex.  I tried to pre-qualify 5.1yr after BK filing date (not discharge) with no success.  In my case, AMEX finally gave me the flirty wink () right at 5.5yrs.  I won't apply as I'm preparing for a new home loan in the upcoming weeks but it feels good.  I'll consider GOLD after I close on my home and debate on also pursuing Venture X.

When I click on "Show All Cards" I get prequal for all cards.  I take it this is positive and a possible approval if I bite?

If you never burned/IIB AENB, then yes this is a positive sign. For the most part, these offers are fairly solid. Since you're past the 5.1 years post-BK minimum requirement, you can always consider it once you've closed on your new home.
