A fun day so far.
Short story version, 2 and a half years ago I apped for the Chase Amazon card and was denied due to a 2010 unpaid Wamu credit card. A year and a half ago I opened Chase checking and savings and every month, I throw a few dollars into it. I started to get the black star preselected offers for CSP, CFU, ond occasionally the CF card. But never a green check mark.
Today I went into a branch ( first ever trip to a Chase ) and spoke with an officer to see what products I was preapproved for and she told me I was preapproved for the CFU and Slate. ( I never saw Slate pop up before ) I asked to to verify that I was preapproved and not preselected. She said definatly preapproved.
I thanked her for her efforts and told her Id be deciding in a few days. If she was right, looks like Im PROBABLY off their black list or at least eligble for approval after a recon. Either case Chase moves up near the top of my wish list now.
Congrats! (well, maybe congrats). Definite congrats on the progress and building a relationship
You get a good chance. But you not entirely out of the woods yet. I've heard some CCs get approved, only get yanked back after the customer received and activated the CCs.
Great to hear!

If you have an inbranch preapproval, do you have to apply inbranch in ensure your approval or can you app later on your home puter
Congrats, Meanie!
I wondered if they have forgiven me for my 2008 Wamu indiscretion🤔
