Finally got denial

😩 well finally got official denial after pre qual for cap one buy power. Wasted a HP which is pretty upsetting and makes me feel just silly. No more apps until I reach the 700 club !

yeah they keep sending me this offer but I am not a big Capital One fan. They do a hard pull on all 3 CRA's....no thank you!  Unless it was a big fat Venture card ...i am not there yet

Just an FYI the buypower is only a single HP on EQ and not all three CRA's like regular Cap One cards.

Understand you not wanting to recon, and sorry for the denial. I'd say it's worth a recon to leave no stone unturned. Why? Because more than likely they HP'd all 3 bureaus. You might as well get your worth for that. But I understand.

I have had amazing luck with their Executive Office. You should be able to google and find an email or phone number. Not sure if they still do it because it was about 2 years ago for me but still worth a shot.

If you search that card approval history here you'll see most get a really low limit anyhow. So I think you are probably better off without that card anyway. OK so big deal one wasted HP. I would rather be denied than get approved for $300!

I really do not find that card to be appealing at all for the majority of us.
