I applied las week through Amazonand was instantly approved.

My gift card was credited to my amazon account two days later. I think they've had this promo for awhile.

I think this is the best deal out there. I just referred a friend to get a new card, and not only did I get $50 cash back for the referal, but my friend got $50 cash back, which the rep said WOULD double to $100 because of their current double-your-cash-back deal for new account holders.

This is the best only if you have friends! Lol...I had my sister apply for the It but didn't know about the Amazon deal or I would've had her do that. I don't have any Discover cards so we couldn't have gotten the referral deal.
