I have a fraud alert placed on my TU cr and of course, the other CRA’s were notified and placed them as well.
Ok. So, with the fraud alert in place, can I still apply for, say, an OpenSky cc(?) which doesn’t check your credit? Or would it still be a hassle anyways? Or just wait until it expires?

I have a 10 year fraud alert (its an extended fraud alert) on my credit report you can still apply for a credit card online, you will be instantly declined, you will need to call in the Credit Card Company and speak to the Fraud representatives or some will call you only, they will ask you some questions off of your credit report, and then they will tell you if you get approved or deny.
Its only a 5 minute hassle sure beats dealing with identity theft and going through months clearing up your credit because you have a timewarner, comcast, COX...
