I shop a LOT at Fred Meyers and was recently mailed an app for this card. Any chance of getting approved. Prev read that US Bank is not BK friendly?

I wouldn't waste the HP. I don't know if they have a set amount of years after BK or deny outright for having a BK, but I have seen people turned down for secured cards at us bank because they had a BK reporting on their CR.

My experience with US Bank is that they're pretty hard on people. You might want to wait. If you do get approved, they'd likely stick you with an uber low limit. They're like Bank of America when it comes to approving people and dishing out limits.

I got in with US Bank when my BK was 5 and half years old at that time. but it was Cash Rewards not Cash + like it is now as my BK is over 8 years old right now. hope this piece of data helps.

my advice (from a fellow BK'er to another)..know you lender limits. US bank is worse that Citi in my opinion. But are NOT BK friendly in the least (on the legacy cards). I think the min could be 5 yrs+ post, and a few on the boards have been able to get in if they weren't IIB. I even avoid USB...lol!!
