Living here in Arizona Kroger's Fry's Grocery Chain is huge and it's pretty much my main grocery store to shopbesides a Safeway, Walmart, or basha's. I was looking to apply for this frys card and I heard it's not hard too obtain, long as you have a score of 640 and above people have been accepted. Only problem is, I see it goes through U.S. Bank and I've heard they are pretty strict on credit approvals if you have high inquiries etc. Would it matter if it's a co branded card and maybe they would be more lenient? My scores are 793 Experian, 777 Equifax, 776 Transunion. I do have about nine inquiries reporting that's why I haven't pulled the trigger. I would like to get my door in with US Bank and getting this co branded card seems like it would be the easiest path since I know I wouldn't be able to get any of its bank credit cards at the moment. Thoughts? Thanks.
Since this is a US Bank co-branded card, you might need to be in the 0/6, 1/12 range or less to get this card. US Bank seems to be sensitive to new accounts. The Ralph's version of this card is on my radar. Also, it's worth noting that some of these cards have SUBs, most do not.
