Gamestop approval chances?

So ive been on a spree lately, but this would be the last account im going to be applying for, my scores are EX: 698, TU: 706, EQ: 692, and I have a bunch of new accounts, please let me know, and ill be happy to answer any questions (things i probs didnt list here, noob sorry).

Looking at the cards and scores in your sig. i think you have a really good chance. The card is through Comenity (not really that great of a card, although they do offer special financing once in a blue moon) but when I was approved I only had 2 cards (1 cc and 2 store cards).and my scores were in the mid-600's. I was instantly approved for 1k. If you decide to go for it, let us know how it goes.

personally I would not go for that card.. I had it and about the day after I applied I accepted the pre-approval I was shaming myself I cancelled it a few months later.. The card rewards are nothing worth while and the CL's are meh.. With your scores you can do alot better card wise and get alot more benefits whether it is a 0% apr for x months or rewards back then the gamestop cc imo.. That is the only CC I truely regret ever applying for.

You'd probably get approved with your scores but it looks like a horrible card. The rewards aren't really worth it, they don't continue to add up and the APR is horrifying. You would be better off with the PSN or Best Buy cards as both offer better rewards when it comes to gaming (one assumes you game on PS3/PS4).

My nickel worth of advice.... If for some reason you really want that card then wait until they offer you the pre-approval and do not waste a hard pull via cold app.

I signed up for their Power Up Rewards a few months ago and the other day they emailed me a pre-approval. YMMV but from everything I know about Commenity store only cards, a pre-approval will be soft pull.

I did not take them up on the offer.

Playstation card by Cap1. Way better rewards than a GameStop. If you're a Nintendo or Xbox, well...try for Best Buy instead. They've been stepping up their game in used game Trade ins and release goodies and their card has a store and visa I think? Option.

if you're PC you should be on steam with a general rewards card anyway.

I think as long as you have a pulse, you'd get that card. I'd pass on it though and go with the Sony card like someone mentioned.

I got it through the SCT in November 2014, but after only using it twice, (once in December and once in March) I keep wishing I hadn't gotten it. I just don't use it like I assumed and if you carry a balance it's horrible! If you are into earning points then this might be what you want. It's a personal preference. BTW, I have received TWO cli's in 9 months of having this card. I'm at $1350.

To the OP, I think there are better choices out there, but if you really want it don't waste a HP. Do what MOMTIMES7 did and use the SCT; same results, no HP.
