+1
If you didn't need to BT the slate was essentially a waste.
If you wait a few months before you app for the CSP you increase your chances of getting a better starting CL
My slate (which i planned on using for a BT when I apped) started with a $500 CL
My Marriot and Ritz cards started at 5k. thats 10x the CL
I was not prequalified for anything when i applied! I am sure you will get approved. If they do not just call recon, they might be in a giving mood
Best of luck!
I would say wait, but if you are going to apply, may as well get it overwith. Get all your HP's done in a short frame so you can garden for a long stretch.
You can always call the Chase recon if you are denied/pending 7-10 days. They seem to be pretty good and understanding.
Yeah, you probably shouldn't have gone for the Slate since it is useless other than BT, but we've all done it. I got a Citi TYP before realizing how bad the redemption values are. Lol. Good luck with the Sapphire!
I want a a 3rd card as well with them....the Marriot. I was approved in Nov for the Freedom and approved for the CSP in Dec..... And I never see a prequalify offer when I check....... I got about 5 Inqs on my experian now....

I don't see why you wouldn't get approved. See the 5 Chase cards in my sig? All approved with 20pts lower than you and twice as many inquiries.
