OK, I was out credit card pplication loop for a number of years. However all that changed back in January of this year. I was just paying using my debit card, but then I decided to try and get a credit card for rewards. Well since then ive picked up a number of cards, however Im looking to get a couple of more and thought I would ask the general question, am I pushing my luck?
First what I have apped for and recieved, CSP, Freedom, Arrival+.IT, USair, AAdvantage, Ink+. Then I applied for and was denied a Business Marriot Card by chase. Recon no dice...(5 Card Rule), Then I apped and was approved for a PRG, and a Prestige.
So thats 9 new accounts, 1 denial over the past 8 months. Score is in the Mid 700's, AAoA is still above 6 with all the new accounts. I would like to apply for the Citi Premier and the Business version of SPG.
But with all that has transpired in the past 8 months Im thinking I may have to let the SPG offers pass.
