I don't think it has anything to do with which card you have thebeckerman. I just applied for a Sky miles card. On the day it arrived I activated it, then requested a cli for double my limit. I didn't want to be greedy. $9000 to $18000. It was approved. Maybe there is something else.

Congratulations OP on the successful 3X CLI! 

CreditCuriousity, I got my CLI right after I activated my card. Does that I should wait 181 or 61 days to ask for another CLI?

For those of your that did the succesful 3x CLI request @activation,  did the new CL report when your card first hit the CA's?
