I would agree with UncleB's posts to mail in your Navy Federal application and NLUS paperwork. Navy Federal themselves have told me that they don't want people with NLUS affiliation to apply online.
I mention this because we've had reports of at least 9 people on the board who applied online, got accepted, and had their accounts and funds locked up about a month or two later by a completely different NFCU department, the BSA department. So I think it's best not to risk having that happen. Just my thoughts based on talking with Navy and on seeing people here go through some really difficult experiences.
