Hi Everyone!
I wanted to apply for a PNC Cash Rewards card, which had some perks that appealed to me. Unfortunately, the only people eligible to recieve ths card are people who live in a state where a PNC Bank is located, and I don't live in one of those states.
Have any of you applied for a regional card like this, that isn't available nationally? How did you manage to get it? Do you think setting up a PO Box in an eligible state and forwarding my mail from there to my house would be effective?
Thanks for the input!
You can’t list a PO Box as your sole address on a credit card application. You must list a physical street address.
You may be able to open a checking account and apply for a credit card if you visit a branch even if you don’t live in the region. There is a list of banks on DoC that seems to suggest PNC allows it at least for the checking component.

Since most people going for a regional bank account out of state are doing it for the bonus, I imagine getting a credit card would probably not be too difficult as long as you meet their UW criteria.

Well, so much for that idea...
Thanks for letting me know.
