How certain are Capital One CLI's at the 1yr mark?

There's only one steps increase. Otherwise it's just auto CLI.

OP I believe you can request every 6 months once you've gotten the credit steps increase. But like someone else said, NOTHING is certain!

Sorry I did not see this reply sooner. I made sure i picked up secured cards to start off (cap one, and first progress) report to all 3. after 6 months i picked up as many cards as i could get approved for (store cards, and credit cards, gas cards included) If you are not responsible and don't trust yourself don't do what i did. I use the cards for small amounts each moth, and DO NOT pay them off. I let them carry a 5 dollar balance so it reports as a revolving account then i pay off so it reports as paid traidline. I did this with about 5 cards for a year and scores shot way up. After the first year, i leased a Toyota. Then we are at present.
