Thinking about applying for the two Citi Hilton cards to get the bonuses for an upcoming trip in September. I have never applied for anything from Citi before.
My last app was in Aug for my Barclay Arrival and my score is 670. I have 3 Inq this year. I also have a BK from 2008.
Any one know how hard they are compared with Chase and Barclay? I was able to get a CSP and Arrival, but still no love from AMEX.
I have cards from just about every big lender out there and Citi always denies me.
I think it depends on several factors not just score. They seem to be more sensative to new accounts and inquiries than others and perhaps more sensative to balances being reported.

If its your first time with them they may be a stickler. I would suggest seeing if you are pre-qualified first. If you cold app then take in consideration that they are INQ sensitive. They tend to go back 6 months when counting INQs and 6 or more would most likely mean a denial. They are a hit and miss when it comes to reconsideration for a denied application. Usually have to go through their Executive offices to have a chance. They also seem to pull EX and/or EQ for the most part so i would check and see how clean those reports are. It may be difficult with a past BK (not sure if its been discharged off already for you). But once you are in then they can be generous. I started with a Citi Simplicity back in March of 2013 with a 2k starting limit and now i have 7 cards with them. Good luck if you decide to apply.
OP, Credit history and INQ seems to be very important to them. I applied for the Prestige back in December (790 FICO accross the board pretty much at the time) and it went to manuel review. After calling in, the Credit Analyst declined me just for having too many inquries. I think I had 11 total inquries in 2014, and most were from car loans.

I know they can be inq sensitive but I dont 3 will be too bad. Depends when you got then. Like over 6 mos I think your good. Although I thought I read on here that Citi doesn't like any baddies. So not sure if the BK will look to them. Just thought I read that so I could ne wrong.
Do you know who they SP when you try their PreQual site?
You know what- I wrote that wrong.I have 3 inq from last year, nothing this year. I may just wait for them to fall off and then apply at the end of summer. Not sure how they will do with the BK but I can try. I did check the pre-qual site but nothing came up.I've never had that work for me though, with any lender.
Have you tried the pre qualified link on Citi's website?
*edit* this is what I get for not reading the entire thread.

Agreed. I appd in December and got the 4506 response, so I passed. I had just gotten some new cards so I plan on looking at them again this summer.
OP did you go the pre-qual form on their webpage? I did and was pre-qualified for 6 cards and hit the DoubleCash and was instant approved. The pre-qual is pretty solid and be prepared for multi hard pulls. They pulled EX & EQ.
