Hello! I need to have some cosmetic surgery done (emergency revision from previous surgery). The total cost is going to be 16K, I have an ok credit score of 760, 24, working full time in SF, I want to know how likely I can get approved for the full amount? And how soon can I get it? I don't want to liquidate my stock, and I would rather just get an interest free loan
My surgery is scheduled for the 29th (in 2 weeks!), any advice is welcomed, thank you
I would apply through your Dr's office, have them put the application in for you.... that way, Synchrony knows it will be used soon, and is being used for specific treatment. I'm not sure it makes a difference but i think it might, They also take a piece from the Dr's side... the longer the interest free payment is for..... the more they take. I don't know your specifics on your credit file..... but you should certainly take a shot.

@FishingGuy - unfortunately, regardless of the procedure or provider, that's not going to influence the amount or approval. It'll be primarily based on the OP's profile.
Hi @Anonymous, welcome to the forums.
To provide a bit of guidance with your question, can you provide more information about your overall profile? Things like what other CCs you have, what's the highest CL on them. Your AAoA, current scores, negatives (if any), how many inquiries/accounts opened in the past 6-12 months, etc.
thank you, I ended up applying an interest free credit card through my bank, and transfered my credit limit to my new card, problem solved.
Since OP has indicated an approval (albeit for a different card), this thread is closed for additional messages.
