How long between Amex Applications

If you have applied for 2 Amex cards how long after being approved for both can you apply for another card? My husband was approved for 2 cards in Jan. He applied for another one wanting a travel card and the app was cancelled due to him recently being approved for the 2 card and it was too soon was their reason.

I applied for a Amex BCE last Saturday, approved.
And then applied for Amex Gold Delta Sunday, got 7-10 days message and then approved today.

So for me I was able to do 2 credit cards apps and approvals within the same weekend.

I actually need this questions to be answered as well. I apped for the SPG and Gold Delta a few weeks ago and need to know when I can app for another AmEx. Not trying to put all my eggs in the same bucket, but I need that BCP card at some point. I was going to just PC my Everyday... Butttttt... It has a $500 limit so I'm going to App first and see if I can get a higher limit. If I pass, I'll close the everyday. If it fails, I'll attempt to PC but need to know how long I have to wait.

I did back to back Apps one for business and one for personal.Amex blue cash everyday personal they are holding and reviewing because I got approved for Amex business.Called in to verify and was told if apps come in same week automatic call message.Asked credit specialist told me anytime you app more than once in a month if approved second app goes pending and requires manual review.But they told me they do it to avoid multiple hits by system to prevent damage by pulling it down with inquiries.Told me good chance second app will be approved but manual process especially since I had no history with them until
