How long to get discover card in the mail?

Applied for a discover it card on friday 9/2. Instant approval. Never got an email at all. When i check the status it just says my limit and to watch for it in the mail.

Are they supposed to email you when it ships or what? Anybody know what shipping company they use?

Mine came USPS within 7 to 10 days. They're generally pretty fast though, but since it was a holiday weekend it may take a little longer.

Considering the Holiday weekend, it will probably ship today or tomorrow.

I don't believe I did, but it was a while ago at this point.

I applied on August 26th, got the following E mail on Sept 1st, got card in mail Saturday, Sept 3rd.

Hi smc!

I was approved for Discover on 7/9. On 7/14, I received an email the card was shipped and should arrive in 3-5 days. It was in the mailbox on 7/16. I have read that how long it takes depends on where you live. I live in NorCal and the card shipped from Utah, but I think it can take longer if you live on the East Coast. Hopefully you get it soon!

Should be about a week, +/- a couple of days from the date you were approved.

It took about 7 business days to get the 'your card has shipped' email, and I received the card about 2 days after that. (Nothing post-approval via email, either. Started to wonder if I imagined the whole thing. Haha. )

You should get it between 9/9 and 9/12 based on my experience.
