Re: How many cards did you apply for today?

No applications here, either. Gardening for a few months...

Keep both your credit and your body in top shape!

Re: How many cards did you apply for today?

Not applying for two specifically.

I have two enticing paper mailers, but I'm skipping both of them. Too much other recent credit to justify more apps.

Chase United for 50k miles $2k spend, will expire on August 31, the second one that they sent me this year. I've got 17,700 miles in United.

BofA Alaska Airlines 25k + 5k miles "just because" so a 30k miles offer. I've got 23,650 miles there.

In both cases, I'm going to be keeping the miles alive through the dining programs. A local burger joint is in the Rewards Network dining programs, so I make it a habit to go there every few weeks. I need to figure out what I'm going to do with the American Airlines miles and the more research I do, the more I like Delta anyway, which I fly for business, and I've been finding good prices for my recent personal trips. I'll get back to Alaska Air and United someday, just not today.

None today. I also made it through yesterday. As Bill would say, one day at a time.

None because I'm gardening for a year.

None. I want a unsecured card so bad but don't want to settle for First Premier. I'm in the garden until my scores warrant an unsecured application but it feels like it's going to be a life time sentence in the garden! 😂

How long have you had your Cap One secured? If you've built up some history, maybe they'd approve you for a QS1 or a Plat.

The cards in my signature are in the order I received them. My third statement on CapOne dropped a couple of days ago. My scores actually went down with all the new accounts all 6 are reporting now. Cap's prequel has nothing for me yet. Trying to be patient but it's oh so hard.
