How much time in between Amex apps?

Recently got Delta Skymiles, but have been declined everything else from Amex. The letters say "declined because we previously declined" and they are not pulling a report. I'm assuming there is a waiting period after decline that I need to follow before they truly consider my app. My Amex Fico has not updated since 4/13...

I spoke to AMEX yesterday regarding my Platinum app and they said to try again in 61 days from the application date.   You can app every 31 days if you want, but I will stick to 61.

You can get 3 cards in 90 days. If you haven't reached this stipulation then apply over the phone instead of online application. Applying over the phone yielded positive results twice for me.

61 and 90 days were mentioned. I'd either play it safe with 90 or call in to verify the actual number, just to be sure.
