IHG Rewards Club Select denied

Chase denied me after "thoughtful" consideration for not having an account open long enough. I have a brokerage and a checkings account with them. How can I get them to reconsider it? I book Holiday Inn a lot and travel a lot so this card would be good if I can get approved for it.

This pains me to see.. If you don't want to listen to advise don't ask for it as we try not to set people up for failure. You are just doing more harm to yourself appliying for cards until you address the cause of your reports being in the shape they are.

I get it.  Been there done that.  You (was me 3 years ago) just want to have that break out moment with approvals.  Unfortunately, it takes time.  I remember when I started my rebuild with secured cards with USAA, I kept applying for an unsecured card with USAA and they kept denying me. After about 4 denials, I reluctantly stopped.  It's hard I know.  You look for someone anyone to take a chance on you but the rejections keeps coming.  It's going to take time to get there, but you'll eventually get there.  Maybe slow down on the apps and clean up anything negative that you may have (if you have negatives).  Good luck to you.
