Have anyone apped and was approved while having ongoing dispute?

You need to give more information.  Are you disputing a CA? a late payment? your only cc?

Lexie is right, we do need more information.

If it is CA I can speak that. I had a dispute with a CA on Eq and Ex for almost three months (first Ex and after that was deleted they reported to Eq). The creditor refused to respond to the disputes of the CFPBA Complaint and the collection of course got deleted.

I honestly had forgotten I was in disputes when I applied for the Ritz card (got approved for 11k). The pulled the report that currently had my dispute on it at the time and it seemed to make no difference to them.

Of course YMMV, but a dispute causes your score to reflect as though you didn't have the baddie on your report. HOWEVER do NOT (and I can't stress this enough) do NOT do disputes that you know you owe for a short term boost. It will come back to bite you and bite you hard.

thanks for the advice lexie and Visperon. The dispute i had was for a medical bill that was to old to be reporting and should have been gone alontime ago and 2 late pymts showing on my mortage that wasn't late during their transition to a new lender.

There's a plethora of posts where successful approvals were had including tax liens, bks reporting. 

Your scores seem seem low and depending on the age of the lates, number of inqs, util - there seems to be other reasons that might be impacting your scores.
