Is Apple staunchly 90 days to request an increase?

It's been 88 days for me because I cannot do math apparently and I got denied because I recently got an increase.

Just wondering.

I tried to contact support and got the run around.

Re: Is Apple staunchly 90 days to request an increase?

Hi there,

I applied for an Apple Card and was approved with a $3000 SL and a pretty high APR ... It's actually the highest from my other cards that have APRs in the mid teens. Is $3000 the standard for this card and how soon can you request a CLI . I see you posted you already got one and we're in the process of requesting another

@Anonymous I was actually approved in August of 2019 w/ a $1000 limit since my credit was mid 600s then. I've requested one about every three months after that initial six months wait, and have gotten $500 every time. I used my hard a TON these past few months and PIF so I am hoping it'll generate a larger increase.

Huh. I tried after 90 days and was told it was too soon. I didn't try on day 91, but - and not to be annoying - does it have to be on day 91 or later?

I was approved for Apple Card SL $1250 August 9th. I have used and payed off for a month and a half and 2 weeks ago I put an iPhone on an installment plan pretty much maxing out my limit. I had asked several times for an increase since it's soft pull.

today I asked on a whim since I just got a Discover it CLI and they approved me for $500 more for a total of $1750. This is only 2 months after original approval and with a iPhone installment on it. Also I am 2 years post bankruptcy

@Jcbotero Congrats on the increase.  Hopefully your card will continue to grow.

Re: Is Apple staunchly 90 days to request an increase?

Apple's algorythim was probably designed by a not so well person.

My Co-worker, Partner & I applied for the AC on the same day a little over a year ago.

Co-worker = $4000

Partner = $4000

Me = $500

I had high revoving debt last year.

Make a long story short, after a year I requested a CLI and was given $1000. My partner who gets CLI from Discover & Amex like it's socialism always get denied by apple/Gs

Maybe I will try for CLI in NOV and report back.

Yep, tried around 95 days and still "too soon".

I'll try again next month. Wanted to get another one before a high BT reports though.
