Re: Is Citi and Chase inquiry sensitive?

The stats you provided look great for a CSP, each case varies but I would think your SL should be impressive if income aligns. It is 5 new cards in 24 months. If it were 5 inq's I imagine not many people here would have one.

I know you are strictly looking for SL on Citi - on the prequal site did they give you APRs? Just want to insure it is an actual pre-qual and not a suggessted or recommended. Plus over time, a lower APR may come in handy, hopefully not but...

Good Luck

Yes I got a fixed APR of 13.24% or something like that. there was no range on the APR for all 5 of the cards offered to me.

You said 7 inquiries since 2014?  Against what others say, you should not apply for the CSP.  They are very firm with 5/24.  5 inquiries in the last 24 months = automatic denial.

I'd have to disagree- See blue.  Chase put that rule out and isn't firm on it.  Based on what OP posted, I'd say he/she should be fine.  The Chase 5/24 rule is a "bedlam" here and no one can be certain what Chase will do persay.

My wife was denied for chase because of 6 new accounts in 24 months, told her on the phone nope and her score was 750's I think at the time.  We were actually shocked but the guy came right out and told her to may new account opened 24mo, Great credit score, not one blemish on her credit, Great AAoA,

Woohoo! Way to go!

Now if this was the automated amount, you can still call in within 30 days of the request and ask for your CLI to be reviewed.  Hopefully you asked for 10-20k and left some $ on the table.

Correct! Nothing to do with Inquires, all with accounts opened. My wife had a few INQ for a car she purchased INQ was never brought up just opened accounts.

sorry not trying to be bossy, just make sure u call in within 30 days because they can recon your cli request using the same HP.  You are leaving money on the table otherwise.  I am sure they will honor the full 15-20 due to ur other limits! other members chime in here lol
