I went on a credit card binge as a way to utilitze some points for an upcoming expensive trip. I applied for Chase BA and Citi Prestige, got approved for both. I then added Hyatt at the end in order to earn some free hotels. This is when I ran into problem and got no answer for that. Does that mean it was rejected or do I have to give up some CL from my BA to offset the Hyatt? I will gladly do it as I got too much money on both cards.
My own opinion about Chase is it is best to just wait it out. I actually gave up after applying for the United Explorer card. About three weeks after apping I received a call verifying information. After I picked myself up from the floor I asked the limit and it was 15k. I burned Chase in 2008 with a Chapter 13 so I did my happy dance all day long.
I am sure you will hear from others in the forum then you can make your decision. Good luck!

DEFINITELY WAIT IT OUT
Yep. wait but as stated. called the automated line to listen only. if it says 7-10 days. DOA. if 2 weeks or 30 days. don't talk to anyone and let it play out. you will good to go.
You can also call regular customer service after 10pm EST to see if anything else is needed like verification. UW closes at 10pm so you have zero chance of being transferred to them.
Yeah I am going to wait. My British Airways VISA is already in my Chase profile, nothing on the Hyatt. My Citi Prestiege was also approved. All 3 of my wife's card has been approved with crazy limit.
I thought the economy is crashing

The economy rebounded long ago. and the sky is the limit with credit for sure. in 22 months i went from $500 in limits to 180k. income not so great. 62k. so all is booming. Mostly with 0% offers or low interest offers as well. Since many people tanked their credit during the 2008 Great Crash.
