I was approved for the Amex BCE in December and finished my first full cycle. Was able to put pretty decent spend on it: $700 out of $2k limit. Will probably put another $300 or $400 on it this month. My question is if the 61-day CLI for new members is still a thing. I've read through the threads, and it seems to be less certain today that previously, so I was wondering what recent experiences were.
I'll hit 61 days in the beginning of March. The "Request Credit Limit Increase" appears on my Account Services page, and has since I opened the card. I'm not sure if that's relevant.
Apparently that links being there or not means nothing (based on other threads I've read).
I was able to request a CLI at about 100 days. 61 and 91 didn't work and it just said I wasn't eligible if I followed the link on this forum. I was able to request it at about 100 days, but the link still wasn't there. Got 3X.

It seems to be hit or miss these days. You're welcome yo try, and if you're too early, you won't reset the clock, you'll merely have to wait out the time and maybe try again at like 100 days. You should be eligible to ask then.
The 61 day thing that a lot of sources mention may be true with new cards for people that already have other AmEx cards, but for new customers it is at least 3 full months per a CSR I spoke with on the phone that told me I wasn't eligible when I called after 65ish days about a CLI on my BCE card.
After a little over 90 days I was able to get a 3x increase.
