Is there a database of which creditor checks which Credit Bureau(s) when you apply? If not . . .

If there a list or database showing which revolving creditors check which credit bureau(s) when one applies for their card? If not, would you like to help me build one?

For instance, Credit One Bank only checked my Experian report. Chevron only checked my Trans Union report. Capital One checked my Trans Union, Equifax, and Experian reports. Thoughts?.

Great thought process on your part ! ! ! !

Per card, there is "data" about which cards are most likely used by a Vendor to pull credit data.

This is a consideration for each person.

HOWEVER, physical geography actually plays a significant role is which CRA is used for some cards.

* Not a rule, but an exception to a rule, that one does NOT know until they individually apply.   I know, because one pull was going to be either EQ or TU.  Well, it was not what everyone experienced, I was the exception in that case.

Do your research on the Cards you want, and you will have a good idea.  But is will NOT be guaranteed, as things change.

Best Wishes!!!!!!

I just started volunteering to keep a database on a spreadsheet anyone can access. Link in my signature. It's only 3 days old so no real data yet but here's hoping people start submitting some data!

I'm surprised there's only one other resource online for it and it's a really poor one. A good credit pulls database needs more than just FICO and CRA.

Nice spreadsheet.

For the purposes of my opening question, I would like to see the following example added to the "Credit Pulls" sheet, or the "FICO Providers" sheet, or generate a new sheet (which would make it easier to read). The "X" represents Hard Inquiry. The key would be for each person to have their own "table" either within the same page or a new tab is created per person who would like to add their pull data. The sheet can then reconcile and generate a "total". Due to syntax I would prefer a drop-down menu of "Creditors" or a pre-populated column of creditors OR a table of creditors for users to copy/paste to ensure accuracy versus creditor names manually entered by each individual.

PS, the forum stripped off the "centering" I would like to see for each column.

Good suggestion. So far I found this site that seems pretty robust: = Moderator edit.  @OneBrokeMan -  Links to that particular forum/site are not permitted on these forums.  Just suggest people Google Credit Pulls Database and it's very easy to find.  Thanks! -Irish80

I entered Capital One and CA (California) to test it. There were numerous results. Interesting.

Thank you. The nice thing is rather than just telling me "You are in violation of forum rule XXX", this moderator offered me an example of how to accomplish the intended goal without violating a rule. GREAT JOB!!!!
