I applied online for JC PEnney last week. Just called Synchrony and was told 'A decision has been made but I can't give you any information. You will get a letter any day now. It will be in a plain white envelope so be careful and don't put it in a paper shredder.' WHAT DOES THAT MEAN???? Because I will shred the new card or the denial? I never heard of them not telling.

Hmm maybe because synchrony is infamous for sending out white letters when u hit the CLI button and they go right into the shrewder lol. Maybe yours will have a verification number or something. Synchrony apps that aren't instant are usually decline for me for store cards. BP visa went pending but they called me 4 days later to process app. Good luck!
