I checked to see if I was pre-qualified for one and they said I was, so I applied but got a message saying I need to call them because they needed some additional information. Anyone have this happen? Does it mean I am going to get approved?

It means they need more info. Could be for verification purposes. i.e. Name, income, address.

This just happened to me this morning. I called and they asked me a bunch of verification questions and said I was approved for $300 SL. I'm assuming it was because we just moved this week so it must have been my new address.

hahaha apparently I'm pre-qualified. Not that I would take it. would've in the past. had applied cold turkey and was flat out denied.

I don't shop there nor don't remember ever stepping foot in a kohls store but does feel good that someone out there wants me

Now if only chase, citi, discover, amex would have a nice congrats written on the screen when I do it there

HP after prequalify from TransUnion. NYC

SP to prequalify. HP from TU once you actually apply

Don’t know where they soft pull from but they do a HP at Trans once you officially apply. I’m in NY

Yes, happened to me about two years ago.  They verified info I entered and approved instantly
