Re: LLBean Shopping Cart Trick

No pop-ups for me and TU fico's in the 700's.. guessing cause last barclays card was a bit over 3 months ago?  Who knows.. Always fun checking, although no use for any of the three cards.. Great way to kill a friday afternoon.  Now time to go to the store grab a 6 pack and head home for the weekendSmiley Happy

Re: LLBean Shopping Cart Trick

Agree its fun checking, although sometimes it can spike an app in me. But, I am not doing it. Not into NFL, not into cooking, LLbean I would use but holding off.

Re: LLBean Shopping Cart Trick

I don't know how all this works, But I am  curious how would a website like the one listed LLBean (Have heard of them but don't know much about them) anyway, how would they even know your credit scores and if your credit worthy just by going to there site? Makes no sense to me.

LL Bean is associated with Barclays Bank Delaware and their credit card processing. Just like we see with the SCT from Comenity bank, if a store has an online shopping portal and you enter in your basic information and are not opted out of receiving pre-solicited offers for credit, all they have to do is soft pull your report againist the information you provided upon check out.

Nothing like is a definite a approval, although usually it will go that unless something in your profile has changed in a big way.

Again just wanted to share another card that let you know if you are prequalified when you try to check out.

llbean.com.  Again, I don't know if it's a soft pull or a hard pull, but its a good way to see if you qualify before you apply.  LLbean is issued by Barclays Bank.

Re: LLBean Shopping Cart Trick

This app is definitely a hard pull. Basically they are saying you meet what we like. Feel free to apply just like you what apply for any other credit card.
